Ordered this model in 9 and it was very tight. Ordered another Ilse Jacobsen in another color in size 10 and it didn’t fit my foot size which is a 9 either. Bought the Ilse sneaker and the same problem. Definitely returning them all. Very disapponted have bought them before directly at department stores and had no problem. Thinking that they might be imitation.

I usually wear a size 9 US in most brands, but am a true size 40 Euro. Strangely the 11 US is a 40 Euro. As evidenced by the size stamp and I think the company size chart showed that. Anyways, ordered an 11 instead of a 9. Fits pretty good, a little tight in the toe box. Very comfortable for daily activities. Not good for running, bizarrely uncomfortable during short sprints to catch trains or children. Great for casual walks, hiking, and general milling about. I like them, 9/10 would recommend.
